Design and Landscaping for Modern Country House
Challenge
Commissioned to design, build and project manage the front rear and side gardens for this modern new build rural property, including the installation of a new gated entrance. Putting together a complete package of plans and specifications for planning permission submission. Detailed specification and tender documents were used along with a comprehensive project management plan. The owners were very involved in all aspects of the design, drawing on various elements of the house and picking up on the colour scheme and materials within the kitchen area and the grey window frames.
Value
This project involved many brick walls and piers and the the brick choice was closely matched to the existing house brick. The new gates and bespoke wisteria framework were built from iroko and left untreated to weather naturally.
Project cost circa £130K.
